An excellent heavy-duty winter boot. I live in a climate that can dip down to negative 30 degrees (Celsius) with tons of snow. These boots keep my feet dry (they are waterproof) and warm. They do take a bit of getting used to, as they are somewhat clunky. Until they are broken in, they tend to rub and irritate the back of my ankle. They will feel big--they are not meant to conform to your foot. They do not allow for any foot articulation and you will feel like you're stomping when you first wear them. But if you live in a heavy winter climate, they are indispensable.

Although this shoe is sold/marketed as a running shoe, I purchased it for its looks and comfort. I definitely got what I wanted. They look great with pants and jeans, and are very comfortable. They fit like a glove, no break in needed. Super light too. I should have, however, ordered 1/2 size larger. They barely hit my big toe.

Almost the perfect sandal - I was on a quest for the perfect sandal and thought it had ended here. I put them on and they felt great- the footbed is a really soft suede, the straps can be adjusted to fit my odd feet, and they are pretty cute. But when I walked in them the lining of the front was really stiff and rubbed my feet. I looked inside and it looked like some sort of synthetic leather, and according to they symbols on the shoe the lining is synthetic. If they had been lined with leather or at least a soft synthetic fabric they would have been perfect. If you have tough feet they would probably be okay.

Almost Perfect - Comfy, not too much to break in, but once they did, they were a bit big. May want to try a half size smaller. Overall, they are a keeper and work well with my wide feet.

Almost a good shoe. I agree with a previous review, there's a stitched seam on the insole that bothers the bottom of my foot. It's such a shame because they are very comfortable otherwise and look really sharp with jeans.

All the reviews I read were correct. These are made with thick, stiff leather but that means they need some breaking in and with some good leather product will last for a long time. True to size but you might want an extra 1/2 size up for heavy socks. Very happy with service (as always) and product.

All Day Comfort - My feet border on narrow, and find these Pliners, like most, are a perfect fit in medium width. The rubbery bottom is so comfortable and practical for summer. Most of my flat sandals have light-colored insoles and/or bottoms. The bronze with the dark brown soles look dressier, and even go well with black pants. I can run in these, and they stay on my feet. Happy feet.
